To remind visitors that they are in my place, my parents reinvented my room’s interior. What’s a better way to do this than the photo collage my parents did?

And oh, I am so excited when my mom showed it to me for the very first time. No doubt, it’s Little Karl’s room. Thanks mom & dad!

Clue/s:

3. Both pictures may qualify as detergent ads (nakakasilaw na puti)

Your baby can differentiate familiar voices from other sounds and is becoming a better listener. He also can show you that he’s in tune with his environment. Notice how he looks to see where certain noises are coming from.

An ongoing conversation (although still one-sided!) can help your baby develop his sense of place. He may even watch your mouth as you talk, fascinated by how it all works.

I found a new tambayan — the closet, which I discovered out of crying.

Dad was so desperate and challenged to pacify me & have tried new songs and new rock-a-bye-baby steps but was not successful. For no reason at all, he then walked me to this huge cabinet and once inside I suddenly fell asleep. Outside my new haven, Kuya Kokoy & Ate Guen could not find me until Dad popped open the door. They were suprised to find me inside and joined me there until I wake up.

Of course, by now you already knew me. But for first-time visitor, I think an introduction is needed. My name is Karl Isaac. You can call me “Karl” or “Zac” or simply “Baby”. But do you know I’ve got so many names — funny names, lovable names, and even yucky names. I heard those from my mom & dad. And even though I do not know what each means yet, I trust my gut-feel they are reflective of my personality. Or perhaps of my parents ingenuity.

Quite unusual but my second word is the sound Pinoys usually did to express sigh of relief, aka buntunghininga. It just appeared funny because the situation is funny. I was crying all day and after my dad carried me and I felt comfortable, I uttered my second word: Hayyyyyyy!

Tito Jay-an, dad’s brother, heard it and commented: “parang nabunutan ka ng tinik ah!“.
